WELCOME TO THE MAP UNIVERSE

Not sure where to start? Let's dive in:

First, have you checked out our album "The Adventures of Mugs and Pockets"?

Yeah? Oh good. How about the one before that, "Tenfold" by Swamburger ft. Scarlet Monk? That was before we officially formed a group.

Annddd..... "Labyrinthine" by Scarlet Monk (Mugs), which is her solo Trip Hop album executive produced by Swamburger (Pockets)?  ("Thrive", a song on the album, has an amazing fan-made music video)

Hmm... how about the single "Best of Life" by Mugs and Pockets?

Wow, you're a true fan. I assume you're aware of the art side of things called "MAPwerks" where we do fine art and have tons of merch like skateboards and t-shirts and prints (more on that below)?

Did you know that Mugs does most of the production for the project, and that she also has an instrumental series called "Minty Waves"?

What about our Halloween EP (a good listen all year long)?

AND the newest EP "Jel x MAP" with Jel of Anticon?

Ok, that's a lot of info..... so here's one place to find it all, including interviews and such:

Other important tidbits of info:

-We have a Record Label called "The Higher Ups" with Self Jupiter (from Freestyle Fellowship).

-We have an art company called "MAPwerks" which takes care of all of our band merch, in addition to original artwork, paintings, prints and commissions. We print a lot of our band shirts/hoodies with Concuss Creations here in Seattle.

-We have an art company called "Wrap Radius" with Chali 2na (from Jurassic Five) which specializes in original album cover art (CDs, Vinyl, Books etc.)

We are working on some amazing animation projects with Travis Blaise of SketchToAnimate , including ARC (Animal Relocation Colony).

Well, there's more, lots more, but that will be in upcoming posts. A little about how we create art, how we approach this artist life, what we're working on, and of course the grand universe takeover plans.

To stay in the know on the daily, follow us @mugsandpockets on IG and FB.

Next recommended reading is "The Lowdown on MAP" blog post, where we have answers to those "How did you meet" and "How did you come up with the name" types of questions:

We're so glad you're here.
